Served as business assistant to President/Owner of BFMC during a 10 week time period during which the 30+ year-old organization was preparing for acquisition. Gained exposure to and assisted with all components of the business and transition of HOA community of 657 houses, and a second HOA for a community of 301 condos. Managed resident communication and records to ensure accuracy with necessary resident data, liability forms, payments, and financial records. Assembled information packets for Board of Directors monthly meeting. Crafted and managed extensive communication to achieve proxy quorum prior to annual home owners meeting. Attended meeting and recapped meeting minutes. Learned to prepare monthly financial statements with little direction, gained exposure to responding to client concerns. Assisted with the physical exit of the office location. Utilized QuickBooks, TOPS (Proprietary Property Management Software), and Excel regularly. Assisted family owned and operated CPA firm with individual, small, and mid-sized clients in varied industries. Led initiative to streamline and reorganize office records to include digitization of 15 years of client records. Prepared for and assisted with physical office move.
