I direct all day-to-day operational, technical (incl. Cyber Security, Digitization & Mobile Banking) and facility management services activities for the Asia pacific region. Hold autonomous decision-making authority for all planning, budgeting, development and expansion issues, with a focus on the organization design, communications, system integration, emerging technologies, data center operations, strategic alliances and data security. I manage 11 direct and 155 indirect professionals in 5 countries with a $35 million operating/capital budget. Reporting to the CEO for Asia Pacific. Together with the Country Executive of Singapore I take the responsibility of representing ABN AMRO in Asia and towards the regulators. Some key achievements a.o.: • Sale of Private Banking Asia to LGT • Setup of ABN AMRO Australia Branch (e.g. Technology, Processes and Procedures) • Defining and designing the Digital Strategy for new venture • Implementation of Trading systems for Asia (Murex) • Regionalization and reorganization of the Asia COO Organisation • Implementation of the agile principles in the organisation
