BUILD1x is a unique localized vertical search engine (social network), project management and payments mobile platform designed to address the many pain points of builders, contractors, suppliers and tradesmen in the inefficient and disaggregated construction industry. The Founder of BUILD1x, Trac Stephenson, has founded and run multiple successful businesses in the construction industry over the last 22 years, during which time he has worked with major builders in multiple markets completing over 6,000 homes. His deep experience as a builder, general contractor and materials and systems supplier led to a very clear vision for a game-changing platform much needed by this dispersed and fragmented industry. Five years in development, BUILD1x will be launched in Q1, 2017 with a large base of trial users. Powerful networking and sharing capabilities will drive growth virally. Just here in the U.S. there are over 10 million builders, GCs and tradesmen, the vast majority of which are independent contractors. They represent nearly 10% of the entire workforce. We spend over $1 trillion a year in the U.S. on new construction and remodels in residential and commercial. One of the largest industries in this country. My work will be to bring the platform from development to deployed while preparing the Company for professional investment.
