April 2016- Present- As Manager of Projects and Estimating, I oversee the Project Manager and Estimating department including: reviewing active and upcoming projects in relation to schedule, cost, and scope, reviewing tenders, bids and estimates for deep foundation (piling), bridge, and heavy civil projects, liaising with clients, owners and consultants, and providing oversight and input into the company strategy.

June 2015- April 2016, as Bridge and Major Projects Manager for Northstar Energy, in conjunction with managing construction teams for a variety of projects including foundation and bridge construction I also oversee the estimating and management of bridge projects. In addition I focus on delivering quality services to the many Northstar clients, executing project management decisions in compliance with company and client standards, preparing project methodologies, plans, schedules and budgets, evaluating design and construction approaches, communicating project status and decisions to stakeholders, communicating ideas for improving company processes, policies, and production and client relations.

From February 2014 to June 2015, as a Project Manager for Northstar Energy, I managed construction teams for a variety of foundation and bridge construction projects. I ensured that all project deliverables were correct and submitted in accordance with standards. I was responsible for project profit and loss, maintaining production levels as per bid, and client relations.

From April 2012- Feb 2014 I worked as a Project Manager for Knelsen Sand and Gravel Ltd. I had a variety of duties including providing management, leadership, and technical expertise to site superintendents, conducting daily inspections of ongoing municipal/ highway base and paving projects, providing budgetary management on ongoing projects, interpreting plans and contracts, managing construction teams, resolving technical issues, providing estimates for potential projects, and encouraging learning and development of crew members.

From July 2008 to March 2012 I was a Project Manager of bridge installations and highway projects along with being a bridge inspector. I performed several duties: survey, materials testing and bridge design. I was a project manager of several bridge installations and highway grading and paving projects as well.
