Level 1 trauma center in Nashville TN where I work on the surgical step down floor as an acute care Occupational Therapist. My typical patient population is seeing people after complex head/neck, abdominal, thoracic, or urology surgeries, trauma overflow, and step down ICU patients. On the weekends I cover Trauma, Trauma ICU, Orthopedic, and Neuro surgery. I serve on the interview committee where I am a part of the 8-12 panel who interview potential new staff members. I also serve on the education committee and am a clinical instructor for level 2 Occupational Therapy students.
