FIRST APAC ENGINEER ➢ Vendor/Factory Audit/Supplier development with supply chain team for the electrical/mechanical sub-assemble parts, such as docking control model, brain, throttle and critical mechanical parts. ➢ Project Development procedures specifying with CM & Tier 2 vendors to support US team in smoothy developing and presenting better production performances. ➢ Lead DFM programming of critical components, sub-assembly, support cable routing analysis and full vehicle(system) DFA for to improve manufacturing process for cost balance. ➢ Work with US design team, NPI team, take onsite verifications, FA, and conduct issue solving to ensure on-time delivery product with good quality ➢ Support supply chain, sourcing team for the cost down and cost evaluation from technical side.

Design Optimization/Product Sustaining (2017/12-2019/08) ➢ Lead mechanical design optimization to improve yield and lower cost during mass production. ➢ Manage and organize cross-functional teams to sync up verification plan, schedule and material planning. ➢ Support deviation/risk build at FATP, lead issue summary and action alignments. ➢ Release mechanical design drawings and submit ECO if verification outcomes being positive. TLED mechanical platform architecture ➢ Benchmark products in the market, design an expandable mechanical platform by considering should-be cost, development cycle time. ➢ Study 3D printing technology in LED project and tooling application. Lighting projects mechanical design ➢ Absorb marketing requirements, perform concept design, and evaluate the should-be cost of mechanical parts. ➢ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the best design and take charge of whole product development to consumer being launched on time. ➢ Participate in engineering samples tests and verifications. Follow trial run at an assembly line. Release mechanical related documents. ➢ Responsible for root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation of mechanical parts.

➢ Absorb customer ‘s requirements, draw up projects plan, compose technical documents, hold regular meetings, ensure projects completed on schedule. ➢ 3D concept design, arrange design review with cross functions, finalize 2D drawings and technical specifications. ➢ Submit the processes of producing sample devices and track their progress, assemble and verify the sample devices. ➢ Responsible for performance tests, participate in EMC and thermal tests, prepare test report. ➢ Support on-site assembly and solve technical issues in trial run.
