Physicist, experienced in atomic physics. Recent PhD graduate (defended June 2024, degree August 2024). Currently working as an R&D Engineer at Rydberg Technologies in Ann Arbor, MI. I have an eclectic set of interests and am always open to learning new things. My primary research focus has been in analog simulation, working on a quantum simulation platform using Rydberg atoms, as well as exploring gauge field models in an electromechanical oscillator array. Experienced in building radiofrequency (RF) systems, optical setups, and programming for control and data analysis. Worked on course development and as instructional staff for the inaugural year of the Master's of Engineering in Instrumentation and Applied Physics program at UIUC, teaching students how to apply their technical knowledge to real-world problems using inexpensive microcontrollers (Arduinos) and sensors. Leadership experience as a student org. treasurer and union organizing fellow. Outside of work: film photographer and musician.
