About
Kat Hamilton is the Executive Director of Force of Nature, having joined the organization in 2020 shortly after it was founded. Before taking on the Executive Director role, they were the Director of Partnerships and Programmes, where they led collaborations with organizations like the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the London Natural History Museum, and bringing youth advisors into international for-profit companies such as Nike, Holcim, and 17Sport. Kat grew the Partnerships & Programmes team and the reach of Force of Nature’s programmes, launching the youth training pathways and global business programmes and contributing to the strategy that helped the organization expand from 4 to 13 people and reach over 10,000 young people globally. With an international upbringing across 3 continents leading them to studies in sociology and fine art, Kat exists in the deep awareness and awe of the interconnectedness of living systems and the impact humans have on one another and the planet. They make zines and relief prints with the conviction and understanding that publishing & distributing information should belong to the masses - they balance this with avid reading across worlds of fiction and theory.

The Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations (CAST) is a research centre involving several universities and the charity Climate Outreach. CAST investigates the systemic societal transformations required to address climate change - we're interested in things like behaviour change, public engagement, policy support, communications, leadership and eco-anxiety. Advisor for Generation Hope Programme
Joined the advisory board for the Generation Hope programme at the London Natural History Museum, on behalf of Force of Nature. Generation Hope first ran in 2023, ran for a second time in 2024, and will be running again in 2025. Generation Hope is an initiative led by the Natural History Museum in collaboration with young climate leaders from across the world, empowering young people to become advocates for the planet. It creates a space where scientists, activists, creatives and others can come together to explore both challenges and solutions in the planetary emergency.
