At Elan / Experis I was responsible for specialising in permanent recruitment within the IT market in Scotland, working with both SME and large client accounts. Previous to this I worked in roles within our contracts new business team, our contracts Key Accounts team, and also being our Public Services Consultant for Scotland (our main team was based in Altrincham).

Responsible for senior account management of a number of Spring’s key clients such as Barclays Stockbrokers, Abbey National, IBM, EDS, and HBOS. This entailed delivery of all contract resource requirements and the ongoing management and expansion of client relationships. Also sold the first Scottish ECM project for Spring, resulting in 14 ECM's being placed on client site in 2004. Also responsible for providing additional help and support to our teams delivering into BT Syntegra and RBS.

Run a search division within the IT Permanent team. Key objectives of this position were to provide search-sourced development candidates (£25K - £70K) into roles within major financial players in the City, as McGregor Boyall had traditionally focused on more senior positions (£60K - £200K).

Initially started as a resourcer, then promoted to Consultant, and then to Team Leader. Responsible for team leading on the Banking Development team within Visual Basic / Delphi markets. As well as billing with clients, my other responsibilities included mentoring, training, motivating, business development, account management and presenting to senior banking clients
