Izzy studied Product Design Engineering at Brunel University gaining an Academic Scholarship and graduating with First Class Honours. Working as a Mechanical Design Engineer with Whirlpool, she designed and developed key plastic and metal components improving model performance and reducing costs. Izzy also gained experience in the medical field designing and developing an affordable myoelectric prosthetic elbow joint produced using 3D printing – a project funded by the Dave Granshaw Foundation.
