Develop and implement process and procedures for efficient Configuration and Change Management. Analyze, Review and Manage Engineering data, along with the follow up tasks. Be responsible for the PLM system, including leading the design of future improvements. Perform configuration management activities and ensure configuration/ data management requirements are achieved. Ensure Configuration Data Management requirements for baseline control, document control and document release in compliance with the Program. Manage and participate change control boards and ad-hoc review meetings, as and when required.

Providing coordination to engineering teams representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers. Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project. Coordinating project execution to complete the work statement, and ensuring that the engineering leadership team are aware of programme milestones and objectives. Comparing actual results to baseline plans to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned. Cost Account Management (CAM) Responsibilities for Engineering functions. Leading the tailoring and application of engineering initiatives, best practices and quality processes. Contributing to Continuous Improvement.

Ensure on-time launch for programs and delivery at or below target cost for piece price, tooling, etc. as well as work effectively with the project team to meet targets for quality, delivery and other cost areas. Work with engineering, commodity managers, supplier development engineers, program managers, to ensure supplier performance and deliverables are met and to identify cost and timing issues and resolve them. Facilitate cross-functional meeting including suppliers to improve program cost and delivery through design and development.

Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently. Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility. Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool. Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods. Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions. Ensure the highest quality throughout, minimise teething issues and faults through PFMEA and formal root-cause analysis investigations

Lead the Projects team to meet delivery, performance, and improvement targets for each project. Regular workload monitoring, prioritizing and adjusting. Prepares and manages Test & Commissioning works on field – Material and tools, documentation, people, access, logistics… Documentation and monitoring of the project related results, quality, time and cost/resources. Research, develop, and implement new processes and technologies as required by product design and business objectives. Design and develop equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures with Design Team. Calculate part cost.
