Managing the following commodities: Fabricated Metal Parts (Machined Parts, Castings, Stampings), Fabricated Plastic Parts (Machined Parts, Die Cut Parts), Electronics, Cable Assemblies, PCB’s and PCBA’s. • Provide Leadership and Management to the Materials and Logistics function of the business unit: Mexico and USA facilities. • Develop and execute a Strategic Cost Savings Plan that reduces cost base year over year. • Execute Corporate Operational Excellence: Quality, Delivery, Responsiveness and Cost. • Develop/Implement Inventory strategies to support inventory turns minimizing material shortages. • Oversee creation of Production Plans to ensure they are aligned to meet our customer demand. • Ensure AS9100 QM system procedures and policies are implemented/maintained in the Materials department. • Develop new suppliers in low cost regions leveraging commodities spend. • Ensure supply base complies with Aerospace and Defense requirements: DFARS, ITAR, AS9100. • Perform supplier performance reviews in conjunction with the Quality Department. • Lead SIOP process across the organization: Matamoros Mexico, Montevideo, Minnesota. • Lean Manufacturing: Lead Kaizen events to improve current processes. • Select and develop materials department personnel. Lead and mentor to achieve high corporate standards. • Coordinate new products transfers from different manufacturing sites to the Matamoros operation. • Import / Export: Comply with USA and Mexico Commerce laws and obligations.

Managing the following commodities on current position: Fabricated Metal Parts (Machined Parts, Castings, Stampings), Fabricated Plastic Parts (Machined Parts, Die Cut Parts), Electronics, Cable Assemblies, PCB’s and PCBA’s. * Responsible for developing and positioning the Purchasing department and supply base, in general, to support a high service level in a complex manufacturing environment. • Lead supplier-related initiatives including selection, qualification, negotiations and on-going assessment for internal growth. • Critical role in achieving cost containment, PPV and inventory goals, and reduce the cost of the supply chain. • Drive key initiatives to achieve best total cost structure, quality, lead-time, payment terms and service by developing long-term supplier relationships and agreements. • Manage department activities related to material planning and purchasing in three facilities. • Implement Supplier Managed Inventory programs and other functional and company-wide process improvements. • Negotiate with suppliers on sourcing agreements, cost and material availability and ensure department personnel manage supply of materials to meet production requirements. • Develop and execute strategies to decrease inventory without sacrifice to cost and on time delivery. • Assure continual development of people, processes & practices: Mexico and USA.

Supply Chain Mgmt: • Responsible for leading site’s supply chain team in driving continuous improvement and best in class execution that maximizes customer satisfaction through world class on time delivery and leadtimes, optimizes inventory, and delivers total lowest total cost. • Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost effective procurement, inventory control, quality control, and delivery of production materials. • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. • Responsible for PPV (+) improvement by sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well as coordinating global procurement efforts and drive for cost savings. • Leads S&OP meeting for business unit and reports to corporate on a monthly basis: Reynosa and California sites. • Coordinate with Finance and Accounting departments on matters involving inventory carrying costs and DOI. • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. • Work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. • Coordinate and support new product introduction engineering team to execute plan and meet financial goals. • Responsible for end of year physical inventory audits.
