Since I have memory I have been trying to understand how things works and how they are made. It led me to study Industrial Engineering, which gave me an overview of many technologies fundamentals and management skills. Following the interest to understand more deeply hardware & software worlds, the Electronics Master degree was a highly successful learning period for introducing me into electronics development. During the first years as electronics engineer I was thrilled to develop the electronics of several speedometers projects for motorbike market, for OEMs like KTM, Honda, Peugeot, AIXAM, Hero, Bajaj, Zero Motorcycles and many others. In these projects I wrote/completed the technical specifications of the customer's product, defined the Design Validation Plan (DVP), made the hardware schematics design, software development, mechanics-electronics integration, EMC testing, vibration and climatic tests. Some challenging projects required an ISO 26262 safety certification, so I had to define and implement the hardware and software safety requirements during its development. In the last years I've known and learnt much from Home & Professional appliances, specially in power electronics (motor control, AC/DC conversion...), mechatronics and manufacturing technologies. This background has let me to successfully create and manage teams focused in Product and manufacturing development, covering all development phases from technical specifications to product validation and SOP for more than 5 millions products, assembled in Europe, China and India factories. Deep knowledge of electronics manufacturing process have been acquired during last years, selecting and introducing new cutting edge manufacturing technologies in the SMT lines: selective soldering, 3D SPI, solder paste printers, smart SMT storage and others.
