I was associated with the PitchBook Platform, which provides insights into venture capital, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions data.  As part of Private Equity team, I tracked financial deals taking place in the private market that are directly or indirectly related to the Private Equity firms.  Also, the team tracked the companies receiving these fundings through various means like current and past news sources or press releases, portfolios of the investment companies, through surveys and other sources.  Our scope was not just limited to companies, but we also tracked assets and business units related deals that are connected with private equity funding.  As part of the job, I tracked the profiles of the companies, business units and assets that are part of the funding deals.  I researched on these profile collecting data points like name variations of the company, start date, logo, social media indicators, location, top level management including all C-Level Officers, founders, owners and more, the actual investment deal including all the related parts like investors, add on sponsors, service providers, the transaction value, debt financing sources, etc, and past financials of the company.  All the data collected, was further analysed as per client requirements for various purposes like investing, finding investors, recruiting C-Level Officers, finding business partners in related fields, etc.

 Perform daily accounting tasks including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in Tally ERP.  Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.  Handle any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions promptly.

 Contributed significantly to the successful completion of a project as an active participant in the Advisor Premiere League, a component of financial literacy and investor education.  Gained valuable insights into a diverse range of financial instruments.  Applied skills by simulating the creation of a comprehensive financial profile for a client.

Active member of the CSR Committee and Green Club, contributing to initiatives promoting sustainability and social impact. Served as the Point of Contact (POC) for the batch, facilitating smooth communication between the administration and students.
