Worked under the mentorship of two senior developers to complete an API, allowing the front end of the optimised hospital staff rostering system to access the Nightglass server and run the algorithm. Used Python’s subprocess module and Flask to automate a process which otherwise was time consuming, required administrator access to the remote server, and a knowledge of the cmd prompt.

Worked on the back end of a rostering system that allows NHS hospitals and staff to generate optimized rotas for their junior doctors and other staff. Used Python (Flask) to develop API that connected front end of system to back end. Also used Aire Logic's software suite to create forms for front end input and data handling.

Looked at implementing a dynamic map system allowing users to view points on a world map. Part of researching and building projects for fundraising purposes. Worked on website features to ensure accessibility complied with W3C standards.
