Tamboti Technologies was acquired by Key Telematics. Key Telematics is a white labeled Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for vendors of asset management and vehicle tracking solutions. I am responsible for integration of OEM tracking products onto the Key Telematics SaaS system and liaising with OEM technical contacts.

Tamboti Technologies was a stealth startup. With skills in management of technology, artificial intelligence, software and mobile, and an understanding of communications we are consulting and creating our product. I have designed, development and commercialized a vehicle tracking hardware / software log book for Android and iOS (Journey Organizer). I am responsible for the design, maintenance and development of the Journey Organizer Android Client, and the design of the Application Programming Interface. From October 2019, Tamboti Technologies Pty Ltd will be solely trading under the administration of Alex Soldatos.

As the Vice President of Research and Development for Seecrypt, I was responsible for emerging technologies and coordination of technology strategy and management of technology. I was responsible for the overall design of features, and implementation specifics and coordination with infrastructure and client development teams. I was responsible for coordinating technical design and implementation documentation, as well as all certification of product. The development team that I managed consisted of approximately 70 technical staff members.

As the Mobile Development Director for Seecrypt, I was responsible for the design of the Seecrypt VoIP application and teams implementing the application, namely Android and iOS. I oversaw all technical development and coordinated development interaction between infrastructure teams and mobile development teams. I was responsible for translating business requirements into technical delivery of product, and ensuring that the highest levels of quality, reliability and stability were maintained given the constrained development team and tight deadlines.

As the founder of Appceptional (a mobile application focused startup), I oversaw the operation and development of a number of applications for platforms such as Android, Blackberry, Mxit (social network), Series40 (Nokia), HTML5, and J2ME. Placing in a number of international mobile development competitions (team placed 2nd in the SIMagine Gemalto world wide mobile communication and Java Card developer contest in association with Sun Microsystems and Samsung electronics), (team placed 4th in the Nokia's Create for Millions developer contest fun and games category), (team placed 2nd in the Vodacom App Stars Competition), I obtained insight and understanding of successful mobile application design as well as team management. As a self-confessed mobile geek and technophile, I brought team leadership and technology implementation and integration experience to the team. Appceptional developed applications for most phone platforms (including Android, Blackberry, IOS, J2ME and MXit). Appceptional’s most popular game, Mobiraba, had over 80 000 daily players.

As the chief technology officer for a telecommunications company focusing on transmission technologies (Telsaf Data Pty Ltd.), I oversaw the management of technology as well as the implementation of technology solutions and tier 3 and tier 4 technical support. I facilitated training and created all training material for installations and operations. I managed support and technical relationships with telecommunications operators.

As a sessional lecturer at the university of the Witwatersrand, and consulting lecturer for telecommunications operators (Vodaphone), I assisted in the transfer of technology and mobile implementation strategies and design patterns, and mobile access networks. The courses that I lectured were the following: • Vodacom Young Achievers: Operational Support Systems, Business Support Systems, GSM Architectures and Technologies. • Access Networks. • Integrated Digital Communications.
