Utilize ITW 80/20 methodology to perform solutions that maximize profitability and continued growth. Lead changes through writing operating procedures and provide training on proper setup and changeover techniques for production employees in new procedures and processes. Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing to refine production processes. Investigate manufacturing challenges and design solutions by analyzing process data, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations. Lead project to automate part sorting process for quality inspection purposes. After automatically sorting out 1.035 million parts in 22-24 days, achieved a 92% recovery, and reduced $40,000 expense to less than $4,000. Performed continuous improvements projects related to safety concerns on robot access caging. Planned for expansion, design floor layout options with incorporation of upcoming new equipment to create additional revenue. Plan new equipment expense justification in project scope for preparation of plant growth.

Complete CNC machining according to professors needs either by using CNC Mill or CNC Grinder. Assist 6 teams of senior design students who need tool making and prototype machining to advance and complete projects. Design Injection molding molds and machined them to professor specifications.

Improved a uniform identification method for 77 parts in 5 different cells to keep rejection conditions paired with each part and its own Error Proof Verification (EPV) system. Improved the vision systems by testing the Asyview vision cameras percentage accuracy in contrast, shape, and positioning of assembling counting as go (G) or no go (NG) inspected parts to comply with IATF 16949 Audits to avoid further penalization. Collaborated with Manufacturing Engineers to reverse engineer an electrical system to assure no unassembled parts ended as finished product. Used BobCAD to program and fabricate good chute covers to assemble them with grippers, air lines and solenoids to successfully establish a chute cover system collaborating with the operations of the Epson robot code program. Work on continuous improvement in multiple departments. Reduced time on EPSON robots assembling by test simulating on EPSON RC+. Reduced loss time in change over processes of tools by editing and improving tooling positioning and design by using Solidworks and CNC machinery. Effectively experimented and tested for a new production line associated with a Toyota part by creating 3D-Printed trays for two assembling parts, then testing vibration system for best efficiency of the design success and by improving EPSON robot program functioning. Once completing this project ITW potentially was able to expand their relations with Toyota by supplying their needs locally in United States reducing cost for both ITW and Toyota.

Self-taught how to operate an CNC Grinding machine to research on collecting data of how vibrations vary with different grinding wheel materials, machine RPMs and depths cuts to predict machine failure. Trained 2 undergraduate and 1 graduate students on the safe use of the CNC Grinding machine by providing them with adequate notes, job shadowing and hands-on experience to complete research experiments.
