Improved a uniform identification method for 77 parts in 5 different cells to keep rejection conditions paired with each part and its own Error Proof Verification (EPV) system. Improved the vision systems by testing the Asyview vision cameras percentage accuracy in contrast, shape, and positioning of assembling counting as go (G) or no go (NG) inspected parts to comply with IATF 16949 Audits to avoid further penalization. Collaborated with Manufacturing Engineers to reverse engineer an electrical system to assure no unassembled parts ended as finished product. Used BobCAD to program and fabricate good chute covers to assemble them with grippers, air lines and solenoids to successfully establish a chute cover system collaborating with the operations of the Epson robot code program. Work on continuous improvement in multiple departments. Reduced time on EPSON robots assembling by test simulating on EPSON RC+. Reduced loss time in change over processes of tools by editing and improving tooling positioning and design by using Solidworks and CNC machinery. Effectively experimented and tested for a new production line associated with a Toyota part by creating 3D-Printed trays for two assembling parts, then testing vibration system for best efficiency of the design success and by improving EPSON robot program functioning. Once completing this project ITW potentially was able to expand their relations with Toyota by supplying their needs locally in United States reducing cost for both ITW and Toyota.
