Since I left nursing school I acquired experience in psychiatric healthcare in different hospitals. My initial goal was to get acquainted with as many different patient populations as possible in order to determine which therapeutic approach would get my preference. During that period it became clear to me that somehow I was missing scientific knowledge to be able to perform my job to its full extend. My new job as a study coordinator and compliance nurse now gives me the opportunity to fill this gap. Working in scientific surroundings in combination with my experiences as a psychiatric nurse gives me the ability to understand and support my patients much better. I love my job but I'm still open for new challenges and opportunities which will continue to keep me growing in my professional as well as in my personal life!
