manager, knowledge communities
About
I graduated from Creighton University in Nebraska in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/public relations. After taking a year off to work, I moved to Washington, DC to attend graduate school at American University. I graduated with my Master's in Strategic Communication in August 2013. My work as a Knowledge Communities Specialist at the American Institute of Architects started in September 2013. It began working with all 21 groups managing communications, particularly email creation and strategy. It grew from there to becoming a Manager in charge of three groups and their communications needs, particularly email creation, website updates, and project management. Through my current, and past work experiences, I have developed skills in project management, social media, writing and research.
