My main duties are to greet and serve customers from when they enter the store. I advise and answer any questions they may have, from stock queries to store orders, and details on products. I also have had the responsibility of stepping up and taking control of the floor. making sure the team are effective and have tasks to complete. I have also helped dress windows and mannequins in store as well as being part of the store layout as instructed by head office. I am also responisable for deliveries, stock control and over stocking.

Similar to Sales associate with similar duties, I also had that task of working on a one to one basis with customers. making sure that I helped them on their time in the store. This started by the time they walked into the store to choosing what to try on to styling them to then the till for purchase. we had targets to reach each day/week.

President of a society. I oversee and lead the society helping with a range of roles to support the rest of the committee. This include management of a team of five people, arranging sponsorship, planning trips/events and running social media. ➢ Provide leadership and support for your fellow committee and group members. ➢ Ensure that the society is led democratically, allowing committee and member voices to be heard, listened to, and acted upon accordingly. ➢ Encourage others to get involved by providing ideas and input, and valuing those. ➢ Set agendas, targets and deadlines, motivating other committee and group members. ➢ Act as the main contact for the students’ union. ➢ Attend the SU AGM (usually in November) as your group’s designated committee member. ➢ Monitor your group’s activity to ensure that it is in line with the aims and objectives of the group. ➢ Ensure that all guidelines, codes of practices, risk assessments are followed. ➢ Ensure that all committee members are aware of the relevant training for their roles. ➢ Complete any feedback relating to their society requested by the SU, eg ACE status reports. ➢ Support the organisation of events/activities throughout the academic year. ➢ Organise and lead meetings. ➢ Help to promote your group and other relevant opportunities to students. ➢ Contribute to the development of your group, and to the development of student activities. ➢ Gather feedback from students and pass this on to relevant contacts (e.g., staff members). ➢ Act as a role model and ambassador for student sport/activity. ➢ Positively encourage others to get involved in in initiatives and programmes, similarly to create their own. ➢ To identify and engage in opportunities that will increase the performance levels of your group.
