I work in the Energy Department with a focus on Business Development. My role is to support the Energy and Renewables team in growing business in the sector through identifying, bidding, development and securing new projects. My duties and responsibilities include: - completion of data bases in line with QA procedures - Develop the bid strategy for the opportunity - Liaise with the procurement team and prepare review of the supply chain prices and scopes - Prepare and submit tender responses for a variety of renewable and energy contracts - Write contract proposals for existing and new customers - Participate in the commercial contract development and undertake commercial negotiations - Work with the engineering the technical teams to obtain the best input for tenders and proposals - market analysis and competitor analysis

My third placement was working with the Business Development team in our Highways and Local Government department. My responsibilities included: - Writing quality submissions for various Term Maintenance Contracts. - Prepare contract proposals for LED street lighting contracts - Wrote successful bid responses for Smart Motorway frameworks - assisted with commercial contract negotiations - Market analysis of Smart City, EV and LED street lighting contracts

My second placement was with the Learning & Development team, where I successfully prepared the company to achieve a Gold IIP accreditation, having previously held Silver. My responsibilities included: - Implementing Cultural Change Programmes - Arranging IIP surveys for + 50 sites and analysing results - Creating and distributing site-specific Action Plans based off IIP survey results - Lead project team of 6 graduates - Organisation of company wide webinars on company HR initiatives

My first placement was in Project Management, where I worked on variety of Lifecycle Projects at Barking Schools, Dagenham. My responsibilities included: - Lifecycle budget management - Project planning and financing - Subcontractor management - IOSH Health and Safety Training
