Experience

interpreter and intern and counselor
latino center of the midlands
I started as a intern doing my practicum for my Associates. I was then hired as an interpreter to help out with the drug and alcohol groups and evaluations. When I acquired my PLADC, I was then hired as a full-time counselor. I remained with the agency until the Substance Abuse Department was cancelled due to funding issues. While I was there I worked with a variety of clients, primarily Spanish speaking due to being fluent in English and Spanish. I love working with a variety of individuals, I love to learn about their background and how it affects their addiction.
