Iris, who is from Bintulu, Sarawak, is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law, Multimedia University. Despite from spending time as a law student, she actively participated in extra-cocurricular activities in order to equip herself with leadership skills and interpersonal skills. She won the Best Oralist Award in Bornean Moot Court Competition (BMCC) 2023 in May 2023 and also ranked as 13th amongst the oralists in the Taylor's Intervarsity Mooting Competition (TIVC) 2022.
