Responsibilities: Manage key logistics projects (warehouse, inventory, transport, international). Proactively contribute to improve our information system management processes and innovate to make a difference, e.g. move Coles from manual transport bookings to maximise productivity, efficiencies, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Support new warehouse setups. Implement and test IT solutions, including EDI. Hyper care. Coordinate National Transport Tenders - Request for Proposal (RFP). Key Achievements: Being ranked in Simplot’s top talent program, along with my commitment to their values and behaviours, I was asked to second into the vacant Supply Chain Planner role (Secondment Feb 19 – Sep 19). The secondment broadened my experience and gave me a deeper understanding of the link between supply and demand. A critical project I was tasked to manage during the secondment was the shortage of corn (due to the drought in NSW) to ensure no service gaps. This required extensive collaboration with multiple departments, suppliers and customers. Pleasingly, there were no service gaps.
