Breaking away from my background in finance and going into the fashion industry was one of the biggest gambles I’ve ever taken. However, with my prior knowledge, a strong sense of leadership, and a clear objective in mind, this change proved to be favorable. I founded JADE Jakarta in 2002, and it is currently a leading luxury boutique that carries some of the most notable brands in fashion. As Buying Director, I constantly look to the future of fashion and how I can apply this to Indonesia’s growing fashion scene. Over the years, I have successfully expanded my business, opening multiple stores across Jakarta to fulfill my customers’ wants and needs. Despite the successes I’ve achieved over the years, I believe it is far from over. I hope to continue to push through the limits of creation and contribute to the growing fashion industry in Indonesia.
