I am a fully funded PhD student at the Centre for Human-Centred Computing, Queen Mary University of London, supported by the EPSRC (01-05-2025 – 31-03-2028). My research lies at the intersection of Natural Language Processing and Human-Centred AI. Project: Exploring Animal Behavior Analysis through Multimodal Language Models How I Solved It: Conducted an exhaustive study on the current state of Multimodal Language Models, taking the lead in utilizing the latest MLM to investigate animal behavior. Developed a dataset comprising image-caption pairs, detailing diverse animal behaviors across various environments. Extracted visual cues crucial for accurate animal behavior prediction. Subsequently, fine-tuned a Large Language Model, specifically BLIP-2, to interpret various cat behaviors. Successful Outcomes: Ongoing project with promising results, aimed at advancing our understanding of animal behavior through cutting-edge technology.

Project: Leading a Multidisciplinary Team to Address Japan's Suicidal Ideation Challenge Using FUSIC Technologies How I Solved It: Orchestrated ice-breaking sessions, brainstorming exercises, and team-building activities to foster collaboration and communication among team members. Leveraged our diverse backgrounds to strategically assign responsibilities. Successful Outcomes: Effectively distributed tasks, optimizing my IT specialization in AI to spearhead the development of an AI model capable of identifying suicidal ideation across text, images, and audio sources. The model also enabled the analysis of human behavior in various suicide-related scenarios.
