Working as an AI/ML Engineer and leading a project focused on Audio, NLP and Computer Vision. Designing and building solutions that integrate models such as: STT (Speech-To-Text), TTS (Text-To-Speech), Speech Emotion Recognition, Speaker Recognition, NER (Named Entity Recognition), Grammatical Error Correction, VAD (Voice Activity Detection), Diarization, and LLMs for template information extraction, summarization, and text generation. The systems captures the content of a conversation, tracks the emotions expressed by each speaker while monitoring their progression, and structures the information for reporting and analytics systems. The datasets supporting these models are developed internally from the ground up, leveraging proprietary data to guarantee control, consistency, and adaptability.

Kalkan Defense Systems is a Romania-based defense technology company focused on developing advanced solutions for security and defense applications. I helped establish the foundations for defense-related AI technologies, working with high-fidelity simulations and secure private environments to evaluate system performance under realistic operational conditions. During this period, I focused on deep reinforcement learning, sensor-based systems, multimodal data processing and computer vision, contributing to the initial development and validation of autonomous behaviors.

In the realm of martial arts, Kyokushin Karate, being registered at Nippon Budo Sport Tulcea, I have participated in over 100 championships and represented Romania at European and World Championships.
