My responsibility is to ensure robust functionalities typically found in public cloud services are available in on-premises private clouds. I have successfully developed on-premise production Kubernetes clusters integrated with automated load balancing and storage provisioning. With opensource technologies, I built devops stack to provide on-premise container registry, code repositories, CI/CD platforms and other functionalities usually found online. Additionally, I have constructed private clouds using OpenStack-Ceph clusters, equipped with diverse functionalities such as Compute as a Service, Network as a Service, Storage as a Service, Database as a Service, LB as a Service, Instances High Availability, etc . I designed and built the server hardware required to build private clouds from the hardware vendors build platforms such as DELL, HP, etc. My expertise encompasses openstack, kubernetes, gitops and devops by constructing comprehensive stacks utilizing CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

As a Senior Cloud Services Development Engineer at Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA), I oversaw the development of cloud services across government institutions, ensuring compliance and optimizing system performance through automation. Notable projects included leading the implementation of the Delinquent Management Information System (DMIS), empowering the internal team and eliminating the need for external consulting. Additionally, I played a key role in projects such as the Complaints Management System, Government Business Intelligent System (GBIS), National Data Center Upgrade, and Implementation of Government Repository, contributing to streamlined operations, improved insights, and enhanced service delivery within governmental frameworks. My expertise lies in frontend development, infrastructure setup, CI/CD pipeline management, and deploying cloud technologies, resulting in significant advancements in technology integration and operational efficiency.

As an IT Infrastructure Manager at Mobicash Ltd, I ensured optimal performance and availability of server and network infrastructure to maximize productivity. Within AWS cloud environments, I orchestrated the setup and configuration of various components, significantly enhancing service availability and reliability. These initiatives included establishing high-availability AWS cloud infrastructure, enabling stable operations and increased efficiency for the company's core functions. Additionally, I spearheaded a project aimed at optimizing cloud infrastructure costs, implementing strategic changes in instance types and operating systems, resulting in a 50% reduction in annual expenses while concurrently boosting system performance and security.

Working at Nokia, MTN, Huawei, IHS as a telecommunication engineer in operations and maintenance, my primary role was to ensure the seamless functioning of communication networks. This involved monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network components to sustain optimal performance and reliability.
