- Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy; identify available suppliers for each requisitioned item, raising RFIs - Raising Material Request for quotation, - Vendors offer evaluation and comparison statement - Negotiation (price, delivery and payment) - Releasing orders after management approvals - Follow-up for vendor’s payment or L/C with accounts - Follow-up for delivery schedule and expediting shipment - Coordinating with freight forwarder for shipment clearance - Dealing with Dubai Customs, Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Economy, Preparing documents for Export/Import Operations from different countries (COO, GCC certificate, etc) -Coordination with project team for material inspection - PO close out - Monthly PO status report - New vendor development/sourcing - - Continuously monitoring and upgrading list of suppliers - - Developing relationships with distributors - Market investigation for the innovations, vendors and trends
