This operational job required me to blend together skills in office administration, and customer services mainly; although the daily operations changed constantly and always offered me new chances to face different and possible outcomes. Within Brantia International, my daily tasks were diverse, comprising general administration duties, maritime operations management and documentation, contact with international customers and agents via telephone and e-mail, and invoicing.

Reporting and working together with the assistant manager and the general manager, my functions were quite similar to those carried out by both of them. Supervising the shop floor, rearranging shelves and displays, organizing publishing and promotions events, taking care of the employee's weekly rotas, breaks, and holidays. In charge of deliveries from Greece (it is a Greek company established in different countries) to the UK and the other way around. Responsible for opening and closing the shop, customer's attention and care, mainly in difficult situations which needed to be handled by the supervisor (me), the assistant manager, or the general manager, in case they were working at the moment. I just loved being a supervisor and, although it was only for six months because I decided to come back to Spain, this position opened my mind and future perspectives regarding my career. It also showed me I am capable of promoting within a company in a short period of time and this made me even more hardworking and enthusiastic.

Administrative person in the International Department within this export company. Working in 4 different languages (Spanish, English, Italian, and French.) My main tasks in the International Department were international customers attention and follow-up, order monitoring, problem solving, international transport arrangement (logistics,) etc. In addition, I was the technical translator as I translated the user and technical manuals of the fireplaces and heating equipments from Spanish into English and Italian and the other way around.
