Accountable for bringing advisory related to Imports follow up, logistics, customs and purchasing to agency clients. Control all process in export process of the country of origin until the release of the country destination. To establish within the process the different activities regarding the Logistic Process according with the customs process in each country.

Responsible for Imports diligences in order to complete customs clearance process. Check that the procedures of Import Registration before the DGA, Precursors and MAG, are up to date in each responsible institution. Manage the contingency documents assigned to MAYCA making sure corresponding are committed. Authorize all invoices received from service providers, ensuring that they are consistent with the rates previously negotiated with each of them. Administration of the tariff codes assigned on a global level. Control the registration and timely renewal of sanitary records of imported products, coordinating the delivery of documentation and samples for said process. Make claims submitted to shipping companies, transport companies and customs agency, for damaged, missing product, among others. Service support to internal clients with all imports and service providers inquires.

Deal with strategic negotiations, accomplish important savings overall purchasing annual budget. Policies, procedures and process improvements, working under the strictest internal policies to control processes. Development Bidding process for different Projects. Annual savings initiatives. Performance evaluation for service provides in categories such as Logistics, Professional Services, Travel and Facility Services verifying suppliers with contractual conditions and requirements. Purchases follow up for different categories and internal clients form Purchase Order placement to supplier invoice payment. Assist Senior Buyers. Purchasing Negotiation for goods and services looking for the best price and conditions. Review, preparation and sending of documents required by Customs Authority for Customs Clearance of all Direct and indirect materials. Responsible for the import’s taxes approve and execution as per correct customs tariff. Logistics costing inclusion for Purchasing Direct and Materials Budget

Responsible for follow up from Arrival to Port of Origin to client’s warehouse. Prepare all documents required for the Authority In charge of Exports Process Coordinate Customs Taxes Exemption and its updates. Logistics Costing inclusion for Purchasing Direct Materials Budget.
