About
At my core, I am a convener and bridge-builder - between investors and entrepreneurs, philanthropy and markets, bold ideas and practical execution. I believe that money should serve people and possibility, and I bring expertise in impact investing, capital structuring, and ecosystem partnerships to make that real. Advancing Africa and emerging markets toward self-determination and self-reliance has been my north star. I mobilize catalytic capital and advise entrepreneurs to ensure finance flows in ways that build freedom, dignity, and resilience. In practice, this has meant sitting with entrepreneurs to map out their fundraising strategy, serving on investment committees deciding how scarce resources get allocated, helping shape new funds and financing pilots, advising academics who teach fundraising, leading strategy and people on early-stage African startup teams, and co-founding coalitions that bring Afrodescendent investors together.
