Iman Rohiman

I am a dedicated and experienced tissue and paper machine professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in machine operation, start-up, and process engineering across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. My career began at APP Lontar Papyrus (1998–2005) as a Shift Supervisor on an ANDRITZ machine running at 2000 mpm, followed by a leadership role at Kompas Gramedia (2005–2014) managing two high-speed PMP Poland machines. From 2014 to 2016, I was part of the pioneering team at Abu Dhabi National Paper Mills, leading operations on a Recard Italia machine. I then joined Amazon Papyrus Chemicals as a Process Engineer, supporting key clients such as APP Indah Kiat Perawang, Lontar Papyrus Jambi, and Pindo Deli Karawang. Between 2018 and 2019, I worked as a freelance start-up engineer, supporting machine startups and performance tests in Indonesia and South Africa, handling a variety of machine types including Crescent Former, Cylinder Mould, and Suction Former with speeds ranging from 200 mpm to 1250 mpm. Since 2020, I have been with Valmet Poland as a Senior Start-Up Engineer, contributing to major projects such as APP Rudong (18 tissue machines) and APP OKI (6 tissue machines), and C&S China. I bring deep technical expertise, leadership, and a results-driven mindset to every project I handle.
