Sou Inês Magalhães, vice-presidente de habitação da Caixa Econômica Federal, a maior instituição financeira do país no setor habitacional. Tenho mais de 25 anos de experiência em políticas públicas de habitação e desenvolvimento urbano, com foco na promoção da moradia digna, da inclusão social e da sustentabilidade ambiental. Na minha trajetória profissional, destaco a minha atuação como secretária nacional de habitação do Ministério das Cidades, entre 2003 e 2016, onde coordenei a elaboração, a regulamentação e a implementação de dois importantes programas federais: o Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC) nas áreas de urbanização de favelas e o Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida, reconhecidos internacionalmente pela sua abrangência e escala. Também fui responsável pela articulação federativa, pela negociação interministerial e pelo diálogo com os conselhos de políticas urbanas e habitacionais, mediando a relação entre os movimentos sociais, os governos e o setor privado. No periodo posterior , como consultora independente trabalhei para o Banco Mundial e a Un - Habitat em projetos na área de habitação e desenvolvimento urbano. Tenho publicações sobre habitação social, desenvolvimento urbano e políticas públicas.

In the period 2007 – 2016; • leadership in negotiation processes regarding housing policies in interministerial instances, the Urban Policy and Housing Councils in the Ministry of Cities and the FGTS - Guarantee Fund for Employees, the main housing finance funding of the country; • leadership in negotiation and mediation processes with social movements, governments and the private sectori .intitutionalization of capacity-building courses for public servants and civil society; • implementation of international and institutional cooperation strategies, such as: IBSA / Dialogue Forum - India, Brazil and South Africa; and MINURVI - Forum of Housing and Urbanism Authorities in Latin America and the Caribbean; • institutional articulation with international agencies: IDB, World Bank, Cities Alliance, UN Habitat, GIZ, JICA, among others. .
