Ilina Tripathi

Currently an Analyst at McKinsey & Co., New York. I graduated in May 2024 from the M.S. in Data Science program at NYU. I also have a bachelors’ degree in Computer Science. An ambitious data scientist, I am excited about leveraging my analytical skills to make a meaningful impact in the realms of finance, technology, and environmental sustainability. With a solid foundation in Data Science and proficiency in Python, SQL, Machine Learning and statistical analysis, I look forward to solving complex challenges in the financial and technical sectors, and finding solutions to the critical problem of climate change. Furthermore, I have prior research experience in the field of ML. I concluded two research projects, where I implemented deep learning models to to make predictions based on EEG data. I implemented ML, image processing, cryptography, deep learning, and have learnt a great deal in these fields. I am also a Toastmasters International certified Competent Communicator and Competent Leader, having completed all 10 projects of public speaking. Besides this, I have competed in debate competitions and have MUN experience. I love reading, listening to music, and playing the guitar.
