I am a third-year computer science student at ESIN (UIR). Next year, I will specialize in Big Data & AI. At BCP, I did an internship where I analyzed IT incident data from the Support Desk. This helped me understand how data analysis works in real business situations. At TICLab, I did a remote observation internship where I manipulated and filtered large-scale biomedical data from the SemMedDB database from the National Library of Medicine, extracting relevant information based on specific parameters. This helped me gain hands-on experience in data extraction, manipulation, and filtering techniques within a research setting.

During my on-site observation internship, I carried out a data analysis project on IT incidents reported to the Support Desk while working directly with the IT Support Team. I obtained an Excel file containing the one-month database provided by the team responsible for handling IT incidents, then prepared and structured the data to import it into a MongoDB database. The objective was to make the data exploitable for KPIs calculation and to produce an insights report aimed at improving support for the agencies within the scope of Banque Centre Populaire, covering the entire southern region based in Agadir.

During this remote observation internship, I practiced working with large databases, extracted relevant information, and applied data filters to the the SemMedDB biomedical literature dataset from the National Library of Medicine. This work was an immersive experience in the data extraction, manipulation, and filtering phase of the research project titled "Unveiling Breast Cancer Causes Through Knowledge Graph Analysis and BioBERT-Based Factuality Prediction", which had already been completed and in which TICLab participated.
