 Study and analyse the design / sketch plan which include the materials breakdown given by the Yard  Review Design and development of one line diagram, preparation of electrical equipment specifications  Ensuring Design and development process is done according to quality standards and Class requirements  Vessel Plan approval  Vessel Electrical drawings submitted by the Yard approvals  FMEA/FMCA review  Attending weekly meetings with the Yard/Vendors  Conduct site inspection and ensure all electrical installation must comply with the design specifications, as per drawings and as per applicable standards  Coordinate and prepare various documents such as test, inspection reports, safety approval prior to implementation of work  Keeping the files/Inspection Records always updated  Highlighting all discrepancies/anomaly detected during monitoring inspection and reporting the same to Onsite Manager  Initiate NCR as required in consultation with On-site Manager.  Identification of any Non Conformance linked to Fabrication (NCRs)  Taking immediate remedial to clear inspection log book comments  Sole responsible for all Quality Control Activities for the Electrical discipline  Monitor and/or Approve all pre-commissioning activities performed by Yard/Vendors  Verifying the completeness and correctness of the as built drawings and manage the final project documentation and ensure the complete handover  Reviewing FAT documents  Attending FAT schedule by the Yard and Vendors with the Class (RINA)  Supervising Equipment installations  Supervising Yard Electrical outfitting  Electrical Procedures approvals  To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other Client HSE procedures in all activities,  To carry out work in compliance with Client values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Client priorities and objectives, Client standards and procedures and good industry practices,

 In charge (Technical) for 7 bulk carriers – Belgian Flagged  Technical responsibility over the Fleet,  Supervising Maintenance work carried out on board the Vessels,  Supervising 7 Chief Engineers,  Assigning and Signing off work in MARAD,  Communicate with Vendors,  Planing maintenance work to be carried out on the Vessels,  Attending Dry docks,  Inspecting shipyard work,  Singing off work orders,  Rectifying Defect reports,  Tracking the costs,  Analysing costs,  Cost coding the Invoices,  Sourcing spare parts,  Approving spare parts purchasing,  Ordering spare parts,  Vessels Technical Inspections and survey  Attending Class Inspections/Survey of the Vessels,  Doing Risk assessment for work to be carried out,  Regular visits to the Vessels during the port call,  Assisting CE's in fault finding and repairs,  Organising global Technical support for he Vessels,

Overall responsibility for Electrical design for built-in 18 man twin bell system on new build 05313 DP-3 DSV under the construction in CMHI Shipyard in China due to be finished by end of 2015. Ship Class - DNV Overall responsibility for Electrical design for built-in 18 man twin bell system on new build 01814 DP-3 DSV under the construction in CMHI Shipyard in China due to be finished by mid of 2016. Ship Class - DNV. Overall responsibility for Electrical design for built-in 18 man twin bell system on new build 01814 DP-3 DSV under the construction in Keppel Shipyard in Singapore due to be finished by end of 2017. This will be the first Arctic classed DP-3 DSV capable for Diving operations up to -30 Celsius. Ship Class - BV.
