Responsible for defining and implementing the sales strategy for the company worldwide, ensuring a close alignment with the Mine’s production and logistic Operations, aiming to maximize the value of the asset, and reporting directly to the CEO of the Company. Current annual revenue of the Company exceeds two billion dollars. Among my main responsibilities I would highlight the following: - Lead the sales team ensuring the fulfilment of the sales strategy of the company, aiming to maximize the long-term value of the asset and looking for optimization opportunities. - Develop new markets and customers adapting the strategy to changing market conditions. - Analyze and study regulatory frameworks, cross commodities interactions and its implications to the business strategy and market environment. - Coordinate and align production from the Mine with customer's requirements, ensuring a smooth execution of contractual commitments. - Negotiate contractual terms and conditions coordinating with the Legal department.

Starting as a Marketing Manager responsible for sales in one region, I grew up through the organization assuming more responsibilities, adding additional regions, and eventually becoming Senior Marketing Manager responsible for the sales at the Dublin office, looking for the European region, in close coordination with the office in Atlanta which looked after the Americas and the Pacific region.

Responsible for contracting the coal and freight needs of the group for their five coal fired power plants, in close coordination with the plants and ports and reporting to the Fuel Procurement Manager.

Joining the team responsible for the procurement of coal for Endesa's power plants (domestic and international), being Endesa the largest coal importer in Spain (about 12Mt), reporting to the Coal and Freight Procurement Manager. Develop relationships with third parties in order to optimize the portfolio and extract value out of the procurement contracts.

Responsible of implementing the Mechanical maintenance strategy for the hydro power plants of the group in the northwest of Spain (a total of 1,200 MW). Responsible of the design, procurement and construction of the repowering of the Belesar power plant, the biggest of the company (225 MW), reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Operation and maintenance of power plants. - Six months experience on the commissioning of Hermosillo CCGT in Mexico; the company's first CCGT worldwide. - Commissioning, operation and Maintenance of four cogeneration gas natural engines in Alcala de Henares (Madrid).
