Designed and developed a modular research prototype that integrates automated information gathering, object detection, and interactive network visualization to support fraud detection and entity analysis. Built data pipelines using Python, Pandas, and Selenium to automate data collection, cleaning, and transformation from online sources. Implemented object detection workflows with OpenCV and pre-trained models, incorporating preprocessing steps like scaling, normalization, and alignment to improve detection accuracy. Created an interactive GUI in Tkinter, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly interface for non-technical stakeholders. Engineered export pipelines for structured results, enabling JSON outputs for programmatic use and Excel reports (via openpyxl) optimized for stakeholder review. Developed network graph visualizations using Pyviz and NetworkX, featuring interactive, multi-level relationship mapping. Optimized performance through GPU acceleration (10x speedup over CPU) and multithreading to ensure responsive GUI operation during data scraping and graph generation.
