Roles and Responsibilities -Ensure that a company's everyday activities run smoothly. -Reviewing and evaluating business process & procedures -Targeting specific areas which needs improvement for operational efficiency -Implementing new directives for growth -Developing and implementing the organization's Operations Strategy -Provide effective leadership to the project management team -To drive rapid and consistent operational improvements to ensure that we deliver on time in full, to budget, to quality standards, to the customers’ expectations, and with the most effective use of our resources -Generation and delivery of the Company plans and budgets in full, both in terms of the financial return and the service deliverables -Develop supply chain partnerships -Create an environment that motivates employees ensuring that they are fully aware of what is expected of them, and recognizes their success -Constantly challenge unsafe or inefficient behaviours or practices and follow through to a satisfactory outcome -Delivery of personal Key Performance Indicators

Roles and Responsibility • To be fully aware of the requirements in the Clients Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in particular the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure that the laid down targets are achieved on a monthly basis in the delivery of services to their individual site infrastructures. • To coordinate all field operations activities via Zonal Heads. • To insure that all Radio services provided by the operators are active by having a proper procedures with stake holders and put in place all corrective and maintenance guidelines. • To insure that client’s networks quality i.e. Radio networks, Transmission networks and Power networks are well maintained by having competent Engineers/Technicians, proper working tools, provision of trainings, provision of faults handling manuals and provision of help desk. • To attend daily operations meeting which focus on analyzing the faults/outages that have been reported in the network within the past 24Hrs.This meeting include Management group, Accounts, Fleeting Department, Human Resource and Operations Engineers. • To attend a High level meeting with major Operators representatives i.e. Managers, Directors and Chief Technical Officers. • Advice on the best way to preserve and conserve the surroundings of the towers and equipments. Used parts are well preserved and do not affect the ecosystem of that area. • To Manage Passive Infrastructures of more than 2000 cell sites for Vodacom,Airtel and Tigo • Support project teams to accomplish their task. Projects that have been supported include, Installation of Radio Equipments, Installation of Transmission Links, Installation of Data links and Installation of Power systems equipments. • Foresee the current and future development of the field operations activities by working together with Business Development Manager.

Roles and Responsibility -Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Internet based links. -Upgrading Radio equipments when necessarily -Testing operations and functionalities of BSC, BTS and PCU modules -Checking Daily Alarms generated in the BSC -Clearing all the faults based on Transmission level between Telecom Equipments -Providing Technical Support to Other Engineers within the Region and country wise -Performing site inspection and provide a Report

Roles and Responsibility -Configuration of Microwave Equipments (typically: NEC, 5000s and RTN Radios). -Supervising subcontractor(s) to produce a quality and standard Transmission link. -Checking status of the MW/optical link components (ODU, IDU, IF cable, Hybrid Coupler, Antenna, E1). -Assigning IP addresses to New Network equipment. -Establishing and coordinating remote access of Network Equipments -Terminating a MW/optical link for a new site at the BSC. -Performing software and hardware loop backs to check the status of the transmission link. -Connecting Ethernet cables for the Network equipments IP network. -Using microwave software (PNMT) and Web LCT to manage MW/optical equipments both locally and remotely. -Supervising/Supporting panning of a new MW/optical link to obtain recommended power levels. -Supporting maintenance activities (MW/BTS) for the old sites. -Checking generated alarms and corrects them whenever necessary. -Performing sweep (VSWR test) test for the feeders (Using site master). -Supervising quality feeder/IF cable routing and proper groundings. -Performing site local configurations. -Preparing a monthly target for new sites and submits a report to Technical Director -Carrying out site Acceptance tests procedure (ATP) during commissioning
