Ibrahim Faruk

Ibrahim Faruk is an active Nigerian citizen, who resides in Abuja. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree (Second Class Upper) in Political Science from the University of Jos (2008) and a Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) in Conflict Management and Peace Studies from the University of Jos. His areas of interests include but are not limited to indigene-settler conflicts, citizen and youth participation in democracy and governance and gender issues. Ibrahim worked with INTER-GENDER Development Centre, Jos in the Democracy and Governance department where he gained experience in democracy and good governance and cross-cutting fields. During his time at Yiaga Africa, he has held various roles including: I. Senior Programme Officer – Youth (Political Participation, Advocacy and Non-Violence) II. Programme Manager (Governance and Development) III. Programme Coordinator (Africa Division) (till date) He is a part of the Leadership and Strategy Team of the Not Too Young To Run Movement.
