Hey! I'm Iasmin and I've been translating games (English -> Brazilian Portuguese) for almost 2 years. I've been studying English since I was 8 years old and in 2022 I decided to combine the fact that I'm fluent in English with my love for games and started translating games to help developers make their games more relevant in Brazil through translation. I'm self-taught and learned English by playing games, listening to music, reading books and watching videos in English. I didn't go to a language college or pay for a language course, I learned everything on my own and I get a lot of compliments on my English and the quality of my work. I try to work in an agile way to help developers who have a short deadline to release the game, my work includes LQA (Localization Quality Assurance) and although I mostly work with spreadsheets and text files, I am willing to learn how to use any translation tool if it is a requirement to work on a game.
