Currently on a full-time secondment to the Maritime Coastguard Agency from Arqiva, supporting the Future Coastguard Modernisation Programme, to operate as a single national organisation linked together by a robust information and command & control network, including a single Search & Rescue coordination network, with one controlling operations centre, delivery over the next 2 years. The programme is using Agile methodology to support and accelerate delivery through work packages. Main function of the role is to create a PMO in the ICT directorate, to deliver the IT work packages, supporting the delivery of the Future Coastguard new IT systems development, which include, Data Centre architecture, WAN, Telephony, Radio systems plus Command & Control interface with rollout through the UK and transition of the 999 services.

A key role in maintaining and developing relationships with major clients, engaging with them directly on high profile, demanding wireless communications, ICT projects and business transformation programmes. Employing strong technical, communication and consultative skills, to develop and/or maintain business relationships and opportunities in existing account and/or prospects. Supporting the growth and client satisfaction aspirations of the business.

Managed the programme from being awarded a member of the National Rail Telecom framework, through the Pre-requisite Achilles ‘Link-up’ approval programme, now a qualified supplier to Network Rail. This was completed in April 2013 following a comprehensive audit of Health, Safety, and Environment, processes, procedures & support, for Arqiva’s core products for Wireless, Microwave, Radio, & Wifi solutions, Working with the sales business unit to develop new opportunities. Personal Trackside Safety (PTS) Trained.

Oversee and manage the delivery of IT business system projects, ensuring the effective implemenations of new technology, system and process solutions.Support the development of the strategic roadmap of the Business Operations division.

Divisional integration programme including monitoring and reporting of progress and achievement of the divisional synergy plans and targets. Facilitator between the departments to ensure effective implementation of integration and transition deliverables without impacting the business. Divisional interface with the Change Management Office and rest of the company on integration.

National focus and co-ordination role between National Grid Wireless and the client for all programme delivery requirements. Influence priorities and schedules of a portfolio of client projects. Plan and implement defined programme management procedures and structures.

Worked with three mobile communication operators in the UK for the deployment of the agreed site share locations within the company site portfolio. Updated the client on key activities and ensuring that time scales are met by the acquisition and build sub-contractors. Manage site role out within the UK with the use of four regional project teams managing 700 projects, Valued at £35M.

Direct responsibility for the strategic and day-to-day management of a large call centre and CRM solution project in Germany, with 4 project teams, each team comprised of four. Other responsibilities included customer relationship management with client and other key company activities, which included manufacturing, logistics, development and finance, for both the European and North American operations.

Continue full-time secondment to the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA), completing the RAF Kinloss, Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre (ARCC) technology move and integration into the National Maritime Operations Centre. The creation of the new UK search and rescue (SAR) service, with the addition of airborne surveillance services to the MCA network.
