Currently on a full-time secondment to the Maritime Coastguard Agency from Arqiva, supporting the Future Coastguard Modernisation Programme, to operate as a single national organisation linked together by a robust information and command & control network, including a single Search & Rescue coordination network, with one controlling operations centre, delivery over the next 2 years. The programme is using Agile methodology to support and accelerate delivery through work packages. Main function of the role is to create a PMO in the ICT directorate, to deliver the IT work packages, supporting the delivery of the Future Coastguard new IT systems development, which include, Data Centre architecture, WAN, Telephony, Radio systems plus Command & Control interface with rollout through the UK and transition of the 999 services.
