Ian Lim

Ian is currently a Bid Development Lead in Johnson Controls, APAC where he specialises in Data Center bids, ensuring process and prices are met. Prior to his current role, Ian was an Account Manager. A part of the Enterprise Accounts team, Ian manages the regional presence of global accounts. He brings to the table relational skills and product expertise to enhance the customer's assets and productivity. Ian successfully pivoted from the airline industry as a flight attendant to the technology sector through a SkillsFuture traineeship in Johnson Controls and eventually offered a full-time position as a Commercial Programs Analyst. Ian started his career as a Operations Manager in Certis Cisco where he developed his skills in operational excellence. He set up the operations center and managed enforcement operations. He then went on to develop his operations and customer facing skills as a Fight Attendant with Singapore Airlines. With world class training and standards, Ian contributed to the Best Cabin Crew Award. Unfortunately, the hospitality industry was struck hard when the pandemic hit. Ian decided to upskill and upgrade himself and joined Johnson Controls on a traineeship where he learnt about digital transformation and sustainability. After his traineeship, he was offered a full time position as a Commercial Programs Analyst. Ian is skilled in operations, customer service and implementation of digital technologies.
