Improvea Limited is a service provider offering a wide variety of solutions to the college. We specialise in meeting the client needs in respect of staffing and many other requirements.

This role is focussed on delivering improvement solutions for a variety of clients in various sectors nationwide. These include Food, Construction, FMCG, Manufacturing, Steel manufacture and stockholding through to Care and the Public sector, Fire and Rescue and Police. Solutions included diagnostics and needs analysis, development and delivery of management development programs (I.L.M/ C.M.I. CIEH bespoke.) and appropriate support in order to achieve business needs.I also deliver the Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector course as appropriate. I am the coordinator of the Lincolnshire CIEH Trainer forum which has currently 80 members delivering a wide variety of solutions throughout the region. In addition I was registered with Business Link Yorkshire and the Manufacturing Advisory Services, in the capacity of specialist manufacturing advisor, to drive manufacturing improvement activities in and around the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Improvea limited is a member of the National Association of Driver Intervention Providers (NDIPS) working in conjunction with Humberside Police, Safer Roads Humber and AADriveTech to deliver nationally approved Driver Improvement Courses over a variety of venues in the region.

Three Plus One (UK) Ltd was formed in order to provide Business to Business Solutions in respect of conference, meeting and training facilities in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Working on a part-time basis this role is responsible for client scoping, organisational needs analysis together with the development and delivery of appropriate solutions to staff development. Focussing on Institute for Leadership and Management development and Lean/ Continuous improvement are core to the role.

Working within the post I have delivered various courses to many Blue Chip organisations. These have ranged from Lean Thinking and Lean Awareness, Continuous Improvement, Building Value through Effective Contract Management, Effective Manager programmes(Middle Manager), Effective First Line Manager and Effective Team Leader. Externally I have delivered Effective Team Briefing for public sector businesses and, in conjunction with Swansea University, Effective Management within a research context. I have also delivered on all modules of the CMI Knowledge Transfer Programme in various locations throughout the UK.

This management role was responsible for the development of the organisational portfolio of courses, staff development, Every Citizen Matters, CRB, Centre management (ilm) Delivery of leadership and management solutions, liaison with National skills academies and observation of learning and development in line with funders and OfSted requirements. Delivery of Business Improvement Techniques was also a fundamental part of the role.
