* Assessing and researching serial and episodic stories and script material to ensure the accuracy, credibility and sensitivity of story and character developments, from initial conception through to shooting draft. Providing rigorous checks and comprehensive notes for script editors and writers, ensuring notes have been addressed at future stages. * Alerting script editors to story problems indicated by research and generating solutions, demonstrating an ability to interpret editorial intentions and advise accordingly. * Creating clear and detailed research documents for script department staff and writers. * Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with experts and advisers. * Additional editorial support for the script department - continuity checks, writing synopses to be published on ‘Digital Spy’ and updating character biogs.

* Reading scripts and demonstrating story instinct, making notes to feedback to the Script Editor. * Attending meetings with Producers to discuss story notes and generate suitable story solutions. * Conference calls with writers to discuss Script Editor and Producer notes and necessary changes.

* Reading/checking, formatting and printing all scripts and distributing to cast and crew. * Liaising with departments to ensure scripts are on time and providing support to cast and crew. * Processing ‘pink page’ script amendments and distributing to all relevant parties. * Acting as front of house for the production office and providing administrative duties.
