Receiving, processing, printing, cataloguing and finally framing various pieces of art, sports memorabilia, documents, etc. -Typing records, documents, forms, and schedules for art processing -Sorting, polishing and maintaining fine framing woods -Using power tools such as buzz saws, miter saws, concrete bolt guns, etc.

Promotion and sales of product -Interaction with customers of all ages -Creation of marketing material (i.e. photography, events, etc.) -Discretion in handling of money and company information

* Interacting with customers (both adults as well as children) * Instructing individuals about topics and methods they are unfamiliar with * Advertising for the business while always maintaining a professional attitude * Creating evaluations based on improvement or personal strengths/weaknesses * Using a positive mentality to build a communal working environment

Development of new drinks/promotions/ideas for the business as a whole -Acting as bridge between the customer, the front of the house and the kitchen -Composure in high stress environment while multitasking jobs typically shared by at least 3 people -Opening the restaurant and preparing it for the rest of the day -Serving alcohol as well as food

The Johnston Center allows students to customize their majors. My focus centered around the utilization of visual aids (i.e. photography/film/media) to better display and conceptualize scientific processes. My field of study ranged from life sciences to film and media studies, studio art, philosophy, and religious studies.
