After 2 years working as an Instrument Technician with TMPL, I could not have asked for a better team to share the last years of my career. Now it's time to enjoy some other interests in retirement.

Instrument technician

Instructor Instrumentation Apprenticeship Program. • Instructor 1st- 4th year apprenticeship lectures. • Instructor 1st-4th year apprenticeship labs. • Develop apprenticeship curriculum, lecture material, exam questions, and lab criteria. • Support apprentices during process labs and ensure safety procedures followed.

• Attend model reviews with Major Project EPC Teams. • Liaison with EPC on E&I design deficiencies from phase 1 within operating facilities and lessons learned. • Plan & Schedule Major Projects tie points within operating facility. • Develop E&I isolation plans and ensure adherence to site electrical safety program for Major Projects in operating facility. • Develop loop/functional check out folders with Major Project Teams. • Coordinate and interface Major Project’s activities with Operations, Maintenance, Planning and Turn Around teams in operating facilities. • Coordinate new equipment tag uploads from EIT (Engineering Integration) with Maintenance Planning into CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). • Estimate maintenance manpower requirements for pre- commissioning/commissioning activities. • Review and approve authorization to energize electrical/instrumentation I/O and equipment within operating facility. • Manage and supervise functional check out of new facilities. • Walk down and sign off Major Projects System Turn Over to O&M TCCC. • Approve and sign off E&I PSSR.

• Broad knowledge of the Planning & Scheduling process function and its relationship with other Maintenance functions. • Asset management strategy development. • E&I turn around scope development and execution. • Manage and supervise a combined daily work force (100+) of staff and contractor electricians, HV technicians, EHT electricians and instrumentation technicians. • Manage all E&I contracts for business unit. • Electrical Safety Committee member.

• Strong project development and/or execution management skills. • Strong leadership abilities to conceive program goals & direction, plan work efforts, establish and motivate. • Develop E&I contactor ITP. • Review work package constructability (QA/QC). • Coordinate turn over from contractor to business units (TCCC). • Coordinate initial plant electrical energization.
