I manage the IT infrastructure for an anime convention in Orlando FL. This includes managing the ticketing systems, Google workspace, website, etc. I've taken more responsibilities over the past 10 years, leading to me running the IT department for the past few years.

Design and develop an Interactive Convention Experience for a convention. Custom management applications were developed to track players and game statistics. This has allowed for game complexity to increase without a significant increase in workload on game staff. The job of three full time staffers can now be done with only one. The applications allow for management of the game, and players are able to see current information about their teams and rank. Migrated from using pen and paper and notebooks to Excel sheets and macros to full ASP.NET web applications. The ASP.NET web applications leverage latest Microsoft technologies, including MVC and WebAPI.

Live event photography and videography. Mostly conventions.

Primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining code for corporate housing software. Other responsibilities include maintaining legacy code, developing customized solutions for clients, and developing scripts for deployment and maintenance.

Primary responsibilities include design and development of server code. Developed customized web applications and DotNetNuke modules for sport sites and the main site, including event management, user management, pdf creation & conversion. Also developed several class libraries for use in multiple internal and external applications to reduce code reuse and keep code centralized for updates. Improved user experience by decreasing site complexity, adding new functionality to existing systems. New web applications are designed with UX in mind, and usability is a main focus of design. The new event licensing system has decreased the number of support calls by 30-40%.

Developed and tested custom web based management system using Asp.Net, C#, Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server. System allows for management of customers, employees, and vendors allowing the employees, managers, and administrators to work more efficiently. Increased customer satisfaction and efficiency of remote offices by increasing availability of data. Requests that would take remote offices 3-5 business days to fulfill now can be done in under 15 minutes. Developed a system to replace the paper file room with a web base solution saving the over $50k annually. This has also improved the ecological footprint of the company by reducing paper use.

Coordinated 40+ volunteers for a convention with over 1500 attendees. Oversaw the vendor area and convention operations. Increased number of vendors from 40 to 72, increasing revenue by 80%. Used Microsoft Excel and VBA scripts to manage data and keep track of operations.

Developed educational simulations for use in science centers. Developed and tested code in C# and C++ to integrate Microsoft Kinects with the Unity game engine. Used the Agile software development framework to meet our goals.
