I lead and oversee teams responsible for building and scaling Data, Analytics, Experimentation and central Messaging platforms. I also lead the Security and compliance teams at Meesho. I've successfully grown my teams from 8 to around 55 engineers across various functions. Key Responsibilities: Data Platform: Overseeing the ingestion, processing, and storage of massive volumes of clickstream and transactional data into a Petabyte scale Data Lake. Enabling data-driven insights for product development, business analysis, and machine learning initiatives. Utilizing an open source stack comprising RxJava, Spark, Spark Streaming, Delta lake, Trino, Airflow. Real-time Analytics Platform: building Signal, Meesho’s real-time analytics platform, to provide timely insights and enable rapid decision-making. Utilizing Flink, Open source Real time OLAP stores. Experimentation Platform: building and managing the Abacus experimentation and segmentation platform, facilitating A/B testing and feature flagging to optimize product performance across Meesho. This is a high throughput (500K rps) low latency (P99 of <20ms) service. Building and managing MeUpp, our unified processing platform, to centralize running any big data workload improving performance, stability, observability and overall operational efficiency. Messaging Platform: MeQueue, our central messaging platform, which enables reliable and scalable event based architecture across systems in Meesho. Data Security: Ensuring the protection of sensitive data throughout its lifecycle, including data classification, encryption, and access controls. Security Across SDLC: Integrating Shift left security measures into the SDLC, such as adding of SAST and DAST tools, performing VAPT, Red teaming activities, configuring WAF to prevent vulnerabilities and mitigate risks. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to data privacy and security regulations, including ISO 27001 certification and compliance with DPDP Act.

Founded Turms with a vision to revolutionize wearables with software & engineering. Established and mentored a high-performing team of 10+ engineers across backend (Java, AWS), frontend (Node, JavaScript, Angular), Android, embedded systems, and data analytics. Created a collaborative environment, integrating with product, logistics, marketing, finance and sales teams to translate business goals into robust software systems. Scaled the startup from scratch to $6M ARR across eCommerce and IoT sectors. Donned multiple hats across Product, Engineering, HR, Finance, Operations, Growth pioneering innovative ecommerce strategies and user experiences in the smart wearables market. Led the engineering team to scale the Turms ecommerce systems with (more than 300k transacting users), achieving more than million monthly sessions and handling peaks of 10,000+ daily orders. Architected and built a faster and stable headless commerce PWA experience (Turms.in) on GAE (Angular) integrated into an Android app having (40k+ downloads) within 6 months. Increased sales by ~20% by conceptualizing and building user-centric features like wallet management, referrals, and omnichannel experiences. Built the end to end Fulfillment/Logistics system integrating with multiple logistics partners (Ecomexpress, Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees, Ekart, Shadowfax). Reduced RTO by 30% with IVR verification, NDR calling and analytical models based on fulfillment history. Built Google and Facebook ad optimization systems for audience segmentation and product feed management to improve marketing efficiencies.
